This work of art is made with acrylic, oil, and acrylic pouring paint on canvas with a touch of multimedia details such as gold leaf and beads.When I look at this painting, I tend to get a sense of leisurely calm. It's easy to get lost in the colors of the water as if you were actually standing on the edge of a pond admiring the smudges of color in the reflection. Although the skipping stone disturbs the glassy water, the disturbance itself flows in a smooth, playful mannerism that is reminiscent of children bonding with their parents on warm spring afternoons, or summer evenings with friends spent exploring nature.
