An Installment of Poetry by The Art Guy
Knowledge is an empty box
As useless as if filled with rocks
Lacking gnostic comprehensive thoughts
We G(k)now a pinch of sand
One mind perspectives do deter
To see the dots is to confer
The lack of connections with which we flaunt is the
Ignorance to which they all refer
Stupidity can not ever excuse
What conceals the thinly veiled abuse
Our minds are mirrors, what you see is inside
Abuse not unto others but unto self you wish to hide
Spread the healing, don’t guard the gate
It comes from fear one did innovate
If all you offer the world is malice
Then all you give yourself is hate
Are humans inherently evil to the core
Or are we born as kernels of goodness, made sore
With Infinite perspectives in this life
We never truly know each others’ strife
You can choose to extend beyond your mind
First you must realize you are of the same kind
Lack of knowledge takes blame for the moral floor
Though, isn’t it still our fault if we don’t want to know more?
